Cruise Night 6-9pm
Madison Street at Constitution Court © Suburban Journals of Chicago Inc. photo Forest Park Hosts Their First Cruise Night The weather was good, the cars were
cool, and the chicks were hot. The next week on Tuesday should
also be a great weather day. This event is scheduled to be every
Tuesday in Forest Park from Night 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Madison Street at Constitution Court
(parking is
free for this).
There was a good selection of cars on display, though Chevy's seemed to
be the favorite on this opening night. There were some beautiful
cars to see and close to Chicago. The next event at the same
location is June 1st.
Here's a 1961 Chevrolet Impala with a 502 cubic inch Chevy engine owned by John Ramm. © Suburban Journals of Chicago Inc. photo John Ramm has owned this car for some 41
years, perhaps given to him on 5th birthday? John has done all
the work on this Boulevard Beauty and can tell just about all there is
to know about its creation. If John were on the Board of GM they
would probably have never gone under and never have quit the Indy 500
like some panty wastes.

I
wonder if these Chevrolets were given to some of these folks instead of
failed General Motors stocks....I should get one
then !!!!!!

vehicle registration tag since the car is from Oak Park. These
might make good engines for the Police department and they could help
remove snow in the winter with their heat and exhaust.

night and having the best car of the night in front doesn't hurt
business either. The owner promised John Ramm a free beer for
having his car here, I hope it was a cold one.
