HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hope you
had a nice holiday season, filled with peace
and the love of family and
friends.
Here at Trailside Museum, even
though the woods look kind of bleak,
the snow acts like a canvas
for all the woodland critters to write upon.
The (daily) fresh snow reveals
footprints of fox, coyote, rabbit, deer and
squirrel. The colorful winter
birds like cardinals, woodpeckers and
goldfinches swing from the bare
branches and flock to the feeders.
And the pink-cheeked children,
fresh from skittering over the ice on the
pond, or sliding down a
snow-covered hill or log, add their own
footprints and color to the
scene!
Below and attached, please find
the January Schedule of Nature Programs
for Trailside Museum. As always
- thank you so much for helping to let
the people of our community know
about them!
Happy 2010!
