KAREN JOHNSON, NILES, a long time popular exhibitor in the show and DENITZA MANEVSKA,
 
DES PLAINES , a new exhibitor  have been accepted to participate in the 37th Oak Park Ave-Lake Arts &
 
Crafts Show. Karen  Johnson will exhibit her exquisite hand-crafted jewelery and Denitza Manveska her  beautiful oil paintings and graphics , They join talented area artists and craftsartists from across the  nation bringing an exciting selection of art and craft works to fill Scoville Park.  Held in Scoville Park, Oak  Park Ave & Lake St (800 W. Lake), Oak Park IL the show runs Friday August 19 from 11:00 a.m. to 
7:00p.m. and Saturday, August 20 from 9:00 am. to 5:00 pm. It is presented by American Society of Artists,  a national membership organization.
 
Fiber arts, beautiful wood crafts,  art wear for both children and adults, colorful glassworks, hand-crafted jewelry in a variety of mediums, pastels, photography, acrylic paintings, pottery, watercolor paintings, mixed media works, metal sculpture, garden art, and much more will be  exhibited by the artists and crafts artists who created the work.  Art In Action will be included  in the show with some exhibitors working/demonstrating at various times during the show.
 
You will enjoy the opportunity to watch rock balancing artist Eric Henry at work as ART IN  ACTION is included in the show with some exhibitors working/demonstrating at various times  during the show. Or you may prefer to watch artist Alice Jaeger-Ashland as she works on  block prints or others as they created jewelry and other craft works. All the exhibitors will be  happy to discuss their work with you.
