Bulls Give Jazz the Blues with a defeat of
118-100
It was a great night for
Chicago and the Bulls, Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen were coming
tonight for a half-time celebration of their first championship, and
there was a game with the Jazz, at all that jazz...
The Bulls ended the game with their 13th win in the last 15
games. They started out with 5-0 ahead of the Utah Jazz and
quickly added more points.
The second half of the game brought the Jazz into contention again and
kept the game quite alive until the last few minutes.

Rose was in good form, and even fell with
grace when fouled. Michael Jordon like the young player as he
commented “That kid has come into his own.” Jordan spoke of the work
Rose has done in improving his shots and thought he should be the
leagues MVP, not a bad compliment from a man who brought Chicago into
world popularity without the mention of Al Capone.
Passion and
speed bring Joakim Noah to the hoop over and over again, and with great
results.
Noah even won the tip off at the start of
the game that helped lead to the 5-0 Bulls start against the visiting
victims. It was a good clean game by both teams. The Bulls
had a 37-17 lead over the Jazz at half-time, and set their own record
with a total of 183-point
shots with all net results.
HALF TIME CELEBRATION
The
Music, the Movies, the Cheers and then the Winners Arrive.
Former Bulls broadcaster Jim Durham was the
Master of Ceremonies of the events; Dennis Hopson, Horace Grant, John
Paxson, Scottie Pippen, and Michael Jordon were cheered and
introduced. The sound was
deafening..
Scottie Pippen, and Michael Jordon were
brought to the podium and each said thanks for inviting them.
Scottie said, “This is very special for us.” Michael noted,
"thank you for allowing us to reunite.”
Jordan praised the current play in the game
and said that he thought the Bulls had another 6 or so wins in their
future. It was so loud in the house that Mike built and it only
got louder when Scottie Pippen asked for more.
